Clinker is now sent to our Roll Press, where it is crushed and pressed between two hydraulic rolls, creating what we call "clinker cake".
The clinker cake is then mixed with gypsum and ground in one of our finish mills to make our final cement product.
Final Product... Cement.

Quality is monitored throughout the entire process. The lab processes up to 75 samples per day at various points along the process, as well as live control of our blended limestone and raw meal, to ensure the highest quality of our finished product.”
Prior to the pyro-process, we are checking to ensure that an optimal mix of raw materials is used to create the best clinker. In the finish mills, we check to ensure the appropriate amount of gypsum is added and that the constituents and fineness of the final product meet the specifications as set forth by ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials).
